The Vauxhall Night Time Enterprise Zone (NTEZ), known as #VauxhAllNight, brings footfall, activity and exciting events to one of London’s most dynamic 24-hour centres.

#VauxhAllNight is the branding for the Vauxhall Night Time Enterprise Zone, a Mayor of London-funded programme that aims to activate the area through events and extended opening hours, improve the public realm, support businesses and night workers, and strengthen the inclusivity of the night time offers.

Making Vauxhall safe and inclusive

In June 2023, #VauxhAllNight celebrated the area’s LGBTQ+ communities with Pride Month events. The London Queer Mart activated one of Arch Co’s vacant arches on Goding Street with over 30 LGBTQ+ creatives and saw 500 visitors.

The Vauxhall City Farm held its first-ever Pride celebrations, with guests of all ages enjoying performer-led farm tours, live music from LGBTQ+ artists and a community barbecue. And over 1,000 revellers took over the Albert Embankment foot tunnel to close out Pride Night with the Royal Vauxhall Tavern’s DJs.

98% of guests surveyed said the events helped them feel positive about the local area, and 99% said they would come back to the area for a similar event.

Through the #VauxhAllNight programme, local businesses also achieved 19 new safety accreditations, helping them to support women, girls and LGBTQ+ communities. We also tripled the number of Women’s Night Safety Charter signatories in the area!

Local businesses

Vauxhall is home to a diverse range of nighttime businesses, offering something for everyone. Try cuisines from the Portuguese-speaking world in restaurants along South Lambeth Road, or travel the globe in the food outlets on Kennington Lane.

You can visit historic pubs, watch the cricket and much more at The Oval, take a dance class at Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre or St Anne’s church, or work out in one of Vauxhall’s parks, climbing gym or leisure centre

Events and programming

From April to December 2023, #VauxhAllNight delivered 24 exciting night time events, from free film screenings and arts workshops to food festivals and cultural celebrations. We welcomed over 15,000 visitors to Vauxhall and engaged over 400 businesses as part of the programme.

A vibrant area

Every year, millions of individuals visit Vauxhall, Nine Elms, Stockwell, Oval, and Kennington stations. With the completion of new commercial developments, thousands of office workers will be added to the mix.

#VauxhAllNight aims to connect these groups to the local area’s offerings, encouraging them to stay and enjoy the night. To showcase the area’s unique cultures and contribute to a strong sense of place, we’ve created new murals and public art for the area.
