Future Movement: Discover your future in the Performing Arts

Rambert, one of the UK’s leading dance companies, is offering Lambeth young people the chance to join Future Movement, an exciting programme that provides exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the performing arts industry, professional mentoring and hands-on experience. Lambeth young people attending state schools or colleges will be prioritised

Future Movement gives young people a unique opportunity to explore careers in the performing arts while building creative skills and professional connections.

Participants will:

• Develop creative skills alongside other young people.
• Learn how a major dance-theatre production is created and toured.
• Gain insight into the day-to-day workings of a professional performance company.
• Explore a range of careers across the arts and creative industries.
• Create digital content, including podcasts, to help promote a live production.
• Meet artists, producers, technicians and other creative professionals.
• Attend the premiere of Rambert’s new production It’s A Sin at Aviva Studios in Manchester as a VIP guest.
• Take part in paid shadowing opportunities with creative organisations.

Who can apply?

You can apply if you:

• Are aged 16 to 21.
• Live in Lambeth.
• Are interested in creativity, performance or the arts.
