The Brixton Design Trail

A model of community placemaking that values culture and heritage, amplifies local talent and contributes to Brixton’s reputation as one of London’s most interesting cultural destinations.

Since 2014, it showcased the best creative work south of the river in a week-long annual creative takeover of central Brixton during the London Design Festival; bringing place and people together for an inspirational urban celebration.

Brixton Design Trail is formed on the principle that people’s lives are improved by involvement in and exposure to the arts, and that anyone — everyone — has a right (and the ability) to creative expression.
