Investing in Lambeth’s Future: Grant Funding for Small Business Support
We are excited to share a grant funding opportunity for business support programmes that support small businesses in the borough’s priority sectors.
Lambeth’s Business, Culture and Investment team is seeking proposals for business support programmes that provide support to Lambeth’s diverse, locally rooted small businesses in the borough priority sectors – life sciences, creative and digital, and green tech.
In alignment with the Lambeth 2030: Our Future, Our Lambeth plan, we are dedicated to making Lambeth neighbourhoods fit for the future. The challenges posed by Brexit, COVID-19, rising energy prices, and the cost-of-living crisis have increased survival pressure on businesses of all sizes across the borough. This funding will support business support programmes that enable small businesses to compete, thrive and grow.
Lambeth Council has allocated grant funding through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, with up to £100,000 available per programme. Supported by the UK Government, the GLA and the Levelling Up Fund, this funding is earmarked for business support services, and we invite project proposals aligned with the following UK Shared Prosperity Fund theme of strengthening local entrepreneurial ecosystems and supporting businesses at all stages of their development to start, sustain, grow and innovate, including through local networks. All project proposals must be deliverable by 31 March 2025.
The application window is now open (clicking the link will automatically download the application Word file).
We encourage interested parties to submit their completed grant proposal forms to Enterprise@lambeth.gov.uk by 5 pm on Monday, June 3rd, 2024.
